BPAC Eisteddfod

We’re excited to share the following results from the recent BPAC Eisteddfod.

High School Club Hip-Hop Section
Our Carmel College Hip-Hop Dance Troupe received a Highly Commended in a very competitive section of 22 schools. The adjudicator praised the performance for its energy and highlighted how much fun the students were clearly having on stage – it truly brought their routine to life.

High School Club Student Choreography Section (Senior)
We entered a reimagined group version of Year 12 student Adison H’s FA2 solo assessment. The performance placed 3rd in a diverse section that included a mix of genres and group sizes. This is an incredible achievement, and we’re so proud of Adi for her creativity and leadership with this moving contemporary piece. 

High School Club Lyrical Section (Senior)
Our Senior Dance Troupe received a Very Highly Commended award in a challenging section, competing against some exceptionally strong schools. This marks the first time a Senior Troupe routine from Carmel has placed at an eisteddfod – a significant milestone! The students' teamwork and camaraderie were evident, and we believe these qualities truly elevated their performance.

Arts Co Dance Troupe – Jazz & Lyrical

Our Arts Co juniors took to the stage with heart, passion and courage in both the Jazz and Lyrical sections at the recent eisteddfod. While they didn’t place in an incredibly competitive field, we are beyond proud of each performer. The growth, commitment and energy they brought to their routines was unmatched and the experience marked an exciting beginning for what’s to come. 

Mid Semester Performance

Thank you to all the staff and students involved in making the 2025 Mid Semester Performance such a success.  This event is always a highlight for our Solo and small group Vocal/Instrumental students and their families.  A big thank you to Mr Hayward, Mrs Harris and Mrs Lax for always supporting the Arts Co events.

What we offer – With most groups/ensembles coming at NO cost to our families

All Private Instrumental, Vocal, Dance, and Visual Art lessons are underway, and we are already seeing some real success stories. This year, we have the most Arts opportunities for Carmel College students that we have ever had, and our numbers are very high in all programs we offer. The Art staff are very excited for what 2025 holds for the Arts. If your student is enrolled in the Arts extra-curricular program, you will receive emails from their teacher regarding times and days of lessons and all other communication regularly.
